Job Role:

The Phaco Conversion Specialist is responsible for the successful adoption and conversion rates of cataract surgeons to Phaco as the first line of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and select target trainees and hospitals to ensure optimal quality and quantity of Phaco conversions.
  • Provide on-site operating room and wet lab instruction to trainees in the process of converting from ECCE and SICS to Phaco.
  • Coach trainees and affiliated personnel to achieve optimal surgical and patient results using selected Alcon products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Diploma in Technical Course or Medically related Specialty Training.
  • Minimum one year experience in sales and marketing or clinical applications, with a strong background in OR procedures and medical device knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialty training in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Technology.
  • Minimum two years of Clinical Application, Marketing, and Sales experience with a recognized medical device company.
