Product Regulatory Specialist

Job Summary:
The Product Approval Council (PAC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the launch of new products aligns with regulatory requirements and operational best practices. As a member of this council, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving new product launches, identifying potential risks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve new product launches, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Identify potential operational, fraud, tech, and risk exposures associated with new product launches
- Coordinate with Product, Legal, Risk, Tech, InfoSec, and Business teams to ensure alignment and successful launch
- Lead PAC meetings with all stakeholders to discuss key issues and drive decision-making
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness for all PAC activities
- Ensure timely release of regular dashboards to all stakeholders
- Develop and manage system-based approval mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Risk/Compliance/Product Governance in BFSI, Fintech, or Ecommerce
- Proven track record of working on at least 2–3 product rollouts in financial services or ecommerce business
- Working knowledge of RBI/IRDAI/SEBI guidelines, including experience with PAC or New Product Approval frameworks
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and critical thinking skills
- Eye for detail and ability to analyze complex data
