Key Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data processing systems using Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

  • Data Processing: Design and implement efficient data processing systems that meet business needs.
  • Code Development: Develop and maintain high-quality code in Python for data analytics and product development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Pipeline Implementation: Implement data pipelines using Airflow and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of SQL development experience, 5+ years of analytics/data product development experience, and 3+ years of Google cloud experience with solutions designed and implemented at production scale.
  • Skills and Tools: Experience working in GCP native services like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc., and 2+ years professional development experience in Python.
Additional Requirements
  • Airflow Experience: 2+ years experience working with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines.
  • Terraform Experience: 1+ year experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code.
