Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and develop scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.

Apart from this, the candidate will define and implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.

The candidate should also create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).

Moreover, the candidate will build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.

Additionally, the candidate will optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).

Robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms should be implemented by the candidate.

Furthermore, the candidate will have an understanding of Maia.

Finally, the candidate will translate Banking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development or similar cloud-native ETL tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep understanding of financial data models.
  • Exposure to BFSI regulations & compliance in data handling and reporting.
  • Ability to lead data discussions with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration.
  • BFSI-specific project experience in core banking, digital payments, wealth management analytics.
