Lead Insurance QA Tester

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system, integration, and regression testing, with over 6 years of experience in quality assurance. We are seeking a seasoned Manual QA Tester to maintain the highest quality standards for our software solutions.
About the Job- Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of system specifications to extract test requirements and craft detailed Test Cases/Scripts.
- Develop, document, and sustain repositories of functional test cases and supplementary test artifacts, including test data, data validation procedures, and automated scripts.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with QA engineers to devise comprehensive Test Plans.
- Execute manual and automated test cases with precision and systematically report outcomes.
- Identify, document, and communicate bugs and errors to development teams in a timely manner.
- Participate in system design and review process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop test cases and scripts using various tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and uphold quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document and track defects throughout the testing phases.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester in the Insurance industry.
- Proficiency in QA Methodology and hands-on testing experience within the Insurance industry.
- Demonstrated experience with testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is preferred.
- Proficiency in VB Script, XML, SQL, or related programming languages.
- Experience with Automation Testing Tools such as HP QTP, Selenium, etc.
- Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Multiple Location options: Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad.
