About the Role

This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working 2 days per week from our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for someone to design and code software solutions to model customer business intent into network intent for configuration generation and telemetry analytics.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing software in C# and Python on Linux and other networked operating systems.
  • They will be responsible for writing unit tests, product tests, and scale benchmarking tests to validate the solution.
  • The role also involves designing and developing telemetry data collection at scale from a wide range of networking devices.
  • The successful candidate will generate telemetry intent and develop techniques to optimally do analytics on the collected telemetry data.
  • Evaluating and accepting stream processing, batch processing, and monitoring solutions applicable for the networking domain is also part of the job.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in software development in the area of network management and automation is essential.
  • The ability to test software development is also required.
  • Scripting and automation skills are necessary.
  • Network operations and engineering expertise is also expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering would be beneficial.
  • POSIX and Linux systems programming experience is highly valued.
  • Linux network programming skills are also desirable.
  • A deep understanding of computer networking domain and protocols is necessary.
