Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and support of Network & Security devices. This is a key role in driving the digital experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as Core & Spine switch, routers, VPN gateways, in Onprem and Cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy SDWAN across territories, maintain configuration, troubleshoot of SDWAN
  • Coordinate and execute upgrades, patches, and new installations in collaboration with IT infrastructure teams
  • Perform technical upgrades for the stacks under support. Manage Technical Debt
  • Maintain Technical documentation
  • Triage critical incidents, troubleshoot issues and resolve, maintain SLAs, Critical event support ensuring high uptime of Network & Security environment
Requirements
  • At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as Core & Spine switch, routers, VPN gateways, in Onprem and Cloud deployment
  • Proficiency in managing network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers
  • 5+ Years of hand on experience deploying, configuring and managing security devices such as firewalls in On-prem and cloud deployments
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs)
  • Familiarity with any one of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, IBM)
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
  • Exposure to automation & scripting is good to have
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), Problem solving and Stakeholder management skills
Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech Equivalent /Master/Master Equivalent

Experience: 8-10 Years in Retail Industry within IT Infrastructure Department-Network administration function

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent
