Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our data engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms using AWS services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in building data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent leadership and communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams and drive platform governance.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a clear platform vision to enable business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, and security) to define priorities and solve challenges.
  • Design end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services.
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles.
  • Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem.
