Product Design Specialist

This is a specialized role within our organization where the primary focus is on designing high quality products, templates and fixtures.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes to create designs that meet all applicable requirements.
To achieve this, the incumbent will work closely with engineering staff to prepare CAD drawings and other technical documents within our governing quality assurance program and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop product designs that are cost-effective, efficient and meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to product development.
- Evaluate and improve existing product designs for better performance and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design or a related field.
- Strong understanding of design software such as CAD.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
