Senior Data Testing Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead our data testing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Pandas, REST API and testing, with a solid understanding of data validation, data processing. Knowledge of MongoDB is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Create Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Utilize MongoDB for data storage, retrieval and intermediate queries.
Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL data models is an asset.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
