Principal Formulation Specialist

A Senior Scientific Officer is required to oversee the quality and efficacy of formulations in a vaccine production plant.

• Job Summary:

Develop, implement, and monitor scientific programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules. Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for laboratory operations and maintenance of equipment.

• Laboratory Operations:
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is in good working condition.
  • Operate and monitor fermenters, centrifuges, process vessels, and TFF systems.
• Sterile Operations:
  • Perform and supervise Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) operations.
  • Manage inoculations and transfers of cultures with strict aseptic techniques.
• Manpower Management:
  • Allocate manpower effectively during shift operations to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Develop and implement shift plans to ensure optimal utilization of available personnel.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as biology, chemistry, or microbiology.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Aseptic handling and behavior.
  • Quality management system (QMS).
  • Sterile operations and scientific practices.
  • SAP operations.

  • Lead, manage, and allocate tasks to team members to ensure efficient operation during shifts.
