Project Management Role

Reporting to executive teams for project execution tasks. Responsibilities include project management, scheduling, planning, and commissioning of projects within specified timelines.



 Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly reporting to senior management about engineering, design, and project execution
  • Process improvements, SOPs/checklists, policies, team development, resource optimization, and other change initiatives
  • Project scope, Gantt charts, budget, safety plans involving all relevant stakeholders for distributed project delivery
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Troubleshooting installation-related issues
  • Submission of BOMs to the purchase team on time with utmost accuracy
  • Supporting the RMS team to resolve critical issues related to DGPD & ZFD selection and configuration for timely handover to the Asset Management team with proper documentation
  • Cost optimization of delivered projects through regular tracking of major costs
  • 100% WBS updates in ERP on a regular basis
  • Design and engineering support for distributed projects
  • Optimizing designs to minimize costs in terms of materials used
  • Validating designs, identifying constraints, bottlenecks, and providing corrective actions
  • Prioritizing projects and allocating resources
  • Need-based client meetings, vendor meetings, site visits, and coordination
  • Inputs for Design and reducing the number of iterations required
  • Meeting organization requirements from engineering and project execution, and building necessary skills and technical competency within the team for successful task accomplishment
  • Technical and safety training to the team
  • Maintaining proper documentation of all projects in OneDrive and ERP
  • Adherence to standards/guidelines issued by Electricity Boards, MNRE, IEC, IEEE, BIS, etc.
  • New ideas and design software to add value in Engineering design


 Coordination with Other Departments:
  • Coordination with sales teams to understand client requirements, need-based meetings with clients to deliver committed projects
  • Managing Commercial/SoW related issues with sales teams proactively
  • Following up and coordinating with the purchase team for timely dispatch of materials to sites
  • Regular discussions with the Asset Management team for smooth handover of projects as per guidelines and timely clearance of observations, if any
  • Supporting the project team to resolve site/client-related issues
    • Vendor Management
      • Empaneling, developing, and managing execution vendors for flawless project execution
      • Developing an internal team to manage vendors
      • Ensuring ESG compliance by vendors
      • Building processes to ensure good quality of delivered projects
      • Providing necessary safety training to vendors for incident/accident-free project execution
