Role Overview

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at HERE Technologies, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate product functionality, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, regression, and UAT
  • Provide support in designing and developing functional test scripts
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve tests
  • Support in test planning, reporting, and recommendations
  • Design and maintain Test Plan and Reporting documentations
  • Assist the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during testing and production phases
  • Track software test results and defects in relevant tools/databases
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Overall 5 to 8 years of working experience, including three to four years as a test engineer
  • Experience in E2E testing, good understanding of manual and automation testing
  • Strong expertise in Java and Cucumber to test dynamic content
  • Proven track record in automating tests for dynamic web applications, ensuring robustness and reliability in a fast-paced development environment
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence
  • Proficient knowledge of testing-related metrics and standard practices
  • Proficient at handling multiple projects/priorities
