The SLB Pune India Technology Center has a fundamental and critical role in this corporate transformation and for delivering digital solutions to the larger SLB organization. The center has embarked on various projects to enhance its capabilities and contribute to the company's growth.
About the RoleThe SLB Finance team has an opening for a finance professional at PITC Pune, Maharashtra. We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our team.
Job DescriptionThis position will provide an opportunity to work closely with our experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a corporate finance/Tax department. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in preparing financial reports, including Statutory balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conducting financial analysis using PBI dashboards.
- Assisting the Finance controller in the monthly closing process for management reporting.
- Performing data entry and analysis using Excel and other financial software.
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as assigned.
- Supporting in Statutory Audit preparation.
- Supporting in Internal Audit requirements.
- Supporting in Direct/Indirect Tax related compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Chartered Accountancy Final Exam Due in May 2026/Nov 2026.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
