ETL Tester

We are seeking a skilled ETL tester to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of data processing systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in software testing methodologies, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders.

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and integrity of ETL processes
  • Identify and report defects in ETL processes, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases and documentation to ensure consistency and reproducibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new skills and knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

About this Role:

As an ETL tester, you will be responsible for testing and validating the extraction, transformation, and loading of data into our systems. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that ETL processes meet the required standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing and validation of ETL processes
  • Collaboration with development teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements
  • Development and maintenance of detailed test cases and documentation
  • Communication with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and reproducibility

Requirements:

  • 4-10 years of experience in ETL testing, preferably with a strong background in software testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g. Informatica PowerCenter)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Knowledgeable in the banking domain is a plus
