Utility Maintenance Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive work attitude and implement change processes to set high standards in daily work.
  • Look after production activities, ensuring they run smoothly across three shifts.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance for utilities, minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor machine health using MTBF and predictive maintenance methods.
  • Analyze machine interruptions in a scientific manner to identify root causes.
  • Ensure the availability of spare parts and plan ahead for critical components.
  • Manage warehouses and inventory efficiently.
  • Support the production team in productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in excellence drives like TPM and other programs as defined by the organization.
  • Maintain 5S, safety, and environmental standards at benchmarking levels.
  • Oversee contractors and monitor their activities.
  • Follow work instructions and documentation throughout all stages.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) degree with 6-12 years of experience in maintenance.
  • Preferably from an engineering background with exposure to utility systems and central facilities.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic systems, AutoCAD, and SAP is essential.
  • Good manpower management skills are required.
  • Maintaining safety and environmental standards is crucial.
  • Experience working with CNC machines will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of grinding oil and water-based coolant is beneficial.
