Job Title: Expert Data Scientist

This is a high-level position that involves working with data to drive business decisions.

  • As an expert in data science, the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to large datasets for deriving insights and predictions using Python/R packages.
  • The candidate should be proficient in using data science-related packages like scikit-learn and data manipulation packages like pandas and Dask.
  • Experience in modeling techniques such as classification, regression, time series analysis, deep learning, text mining, and NLP is essential.
  • The candidate should be able to analyze problem statements and come up with different solutions by creating proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Must have experience collecting relevant data as per the problem statement and cleansing the data.
  • Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries is necessary.
  • Must have knowledge on big data concepts like Hadoop and Hive.
  • The candidate should have expertise in machine learning programming and analytical skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
  • Proficient in Python, R, and SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
