Role Overview

Genpact India Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer/Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving, defining, developing, and maintaining business terms, logical, and physical data models within multiple business initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Execute the Common Data process based on an Agile way of working and alignment with the other chapters and stakeholders.

- Based on the input of business representatives refine requirements and translate them into business terms and conceptual models.

- Deliver conform agreed principles and quality criteria: business terms, Conceptual Data Models, data requirements, Logical- and Physical Data Models, requirements mapping and documentation necessary for shipping via Common data deployment packages to the Data Lakes.

- Report on the process and communication to stakeholders.

- Experienced Data Engineer process and good understanding of Data Warehouse.

- Designing and developing data pipelines using AWS Lambda, S3 buckets, Athena, Aurora and RedShift with Spectrum.

- Work with the business subject matter experts to understand business, data items, relations between them.

- Good understanding in Data Modelling including designing/mapping Logical and Physical mode.

- Analyse the data requirements of the customer and should be strong in SQL skills.

- Understand JSON structure to create data model - Hierarchical data / Complex JSON is a must.

- Proposing and implementing a data model by following the modeling/naming standards as per project environment.

- Good to have functional knowledge on Trades for Capital and Liquidity.

- Good to have understanding on CI/CD exp.
