Proposal Engineer Job Description

This role is responsible for proposing and developing technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in control systems, electrical drawings, and AutoCAD. They should also be able to prepare detailed technical offers, system architectures, BOMs, heat loads, and power calculations for control panels.

  • **Technical Skills:**
    • Basic electrical and control knowledge with experience in DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC & other control panels
    • Ability to read electrical drawings and do switchgear selection according to motor load list
    • Knowledge of current load calculation, bus bar selection, and Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
    • Preparation of GA in Excel
  • **Key Responsibilities:**
    • Prepare & evaluate technical documents for project bidding process i.e. Technical offer, System Architecture, BOM, basic design, calculations, compliance to specs, commercial offer etc. for projects
    • Organize bid initiation & review meeting
    • Lead core team to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs from current and potential customers
    • Perform site visits whenever necessary to collect information and utility/facility constraints regarding the project
    • Address the Commercial and Technical meetings with prospective clients
    • Take daily, weekly project sales meetings
    • Monitors progress and prepare weekly reports of the status of each project
    • Project management work may include coordination with customer and management of material, vendors and subcontractors
  • **Requirements:**
    • Location - Handewadi, Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra

    • Qualification - BE Electrical/Electronics/ENTC/Instrumentation
