About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to join our team and lead the development, governance, and maintenance of our enterprise integration and technology landscape. As a key member of our Digital Advanced Solutions (ADS) team, you will work closely with Solution Architects and Technology vendors to deliver API integration projects using MuleSoft APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs using open API specifications and MuleSoft – API led connectivity architecture.
  • Create standards, reusable assets, and automation required for scale and multiple lines of business adoption with a C4E mindset.
  • Provide technical expertise on system, process & experience APIs and complete peer code reviews with team members to ensure code standards, completeness, cleanliness, and quality.
  • Lead platform management & maintenance activities in MuleSoft Anypoint platform (cloudhub).
  • Lead a team of globally distributed developers, working with business stakeholders, and working in a large enterprise setting with multiple cross-functional teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of hands-on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of API integration between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using MuleSoft.
  • Good hands-on experience in developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ).
  • Developing solution features following MuleSoft development best practices, ensuring solution performance and system scalability.
  • Knowledge of various out-of-the-box connectors usage, custom connector development, and custom API policy development.
  • Testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability, and resource usage.
  • Must have relevant experience in troubleshooting, triage, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring of Anypoint API platform.
  • Good knowledge and experience in application development, various API & ESB patterns, cloud compute, database management, identity management, and API security.
  • Experience in API life cycles and API security, experience with MUnit or other automated testing tools.
  • Good experience in implementing DevSecOps - CICD, (Azure, Jenkins), Code quality rules (Sonar, JSLint, ESLint) and performance monitoring tools like New Relic/App Dynamics for scalable use cases.
