Test Automation Specialist

As a Test Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in crafting and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

You will automate functional and regression test cases for web applications and APIs, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Automating functional and regression test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
  • Performing REST API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar.
  • Integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyzing test results, identifying bugs, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintaining clear documentation of test cases, test results, and automation artifacts.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of test strategies and processes.
  • Participating in code reviews and sharing automation best practices across the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
  • Experience in API testing and tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, SOAP UI, etc.
  • Solid understanding of TestNG or JUnit for test execution.
  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
  • Working knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
