Mobile Application Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Mobile Application Quality Assurance Manager with expertise in mobile application testing, debugging, and process setup.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of leading a QA team and setting up efficient QA processes. A background in banking domain applications is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality delivery and timely completion of projects.
  • Perform mobile application testing with proficiency in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and debugging tools.
  • Establish and optimize QA processes, test strategies, and best practices for mobile app testing.
  • Participate in bug triage and effectively defend bugs with developers when issues are valid.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and QA reports to ensure comprehensive coverage and high-quality releases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation strategy, and team efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting for defects, test results, and process compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–9 years of total experience with at least 2–3 years as a Test Lead/Team Lead.
  • Strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing (manual and debugging).
  • Proficiency in Charles Proxy, ADB commands, and mobile debugging tools.
  • Experience in setting up QA processes and strategies for mobile application testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and release cycles.
  • Excellent skills in defect triage, bug reporting, and defending bugs with developers.
  • Experience managing a team of 5–8 QA engineers, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Preferred experience in banking domain applications (lending, loans).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to mobile test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or similar QA tools.
