Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores. If you are a skilled developer with a passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Shopify, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
  • Extend theme functionality for custom cart, filters or similar requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions with the right approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Qualification:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and app ecosystem.
  • Experience with API testing and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping apps).
  • Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and customizations in Shopify stores.
