Job Title: Digital Video Creator

This role requires a highly creative and self-driven individual who can own the ideation, scripting, and production of engaging video content.

The ideal candidate is someone who lives and breathes digital storytelling, knows what works (and what doesn't), and is obsessed with creating thumb-stopping content that balances narrative, trends, and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create original video concepts tailored to the brand's niche and audience.
  2. Craft compelling scripts that combine storytelling, education, and entertainment - optimized for viewer retention.
  3. Lead the process from ideation to execution - including scripting, filming, editing oversight, and publishing.
  4. Coordinate with editors, designers, voiceover artists, and other collaborators to ensure on-time, high-quality video delivery.
  5. Write attention-grabbing titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
  6. Track video metrics and retention analytics. Make data-backed decisions to improve future content.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in video content creation or digital storytelling, preferably for YouTube.
  2. Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills
  3. Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO, analytics, and audience psychology.
  4. Hands-on experience with video production (camera work, editing knowledge, lighting, audio) is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Notion, Frame.io, etc.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Have your own successful YouTube channel or have scaled one for a brand/creator.
  2. Can wear multiple hats - from scripting to filming to editing.
  3. Have experience working with influencer/content creator teams.
  4. Understand virality, trend cycles, and online culture.
