Job Description:

The System Engineer will be responsible for executing the system engineering process for water-steam cycle in power projects, adhering to project scope and collaborating with clients for input, clarifications, and reviews.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of design basis criteria documents
  • Creation of PFDs and P&IDs
  • Equipment sizing calculations
  • Technical specification development for supplier offers and bid evaluations
  • Vendor drawing review and feedback
  • Inter-discipline coordination for inputs and clarification
  • Client documentation approval coordination
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering with experience in combined cycle power plants
  • 6-10 years of experience in system engineering
  • Strong understanding of heat-mass balance diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs
  • Hands-on experience in sizing calculations for pumps, control valves, and condensers
  • Experience in P&ID preparation for fuel gas systems, condensate systems, feedwater systems, and water systems
