Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP EWM solutions coupled with extensive knowledge of SAP MM/SD modules and their integration with other functional areas. Exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, implement, and test large-scale projects and enhancements in EWM supply chain processes.
  • Participate in the full SDLC (Agile) including iterative development, estimations, and design sessions.
  • Deliver high-quality project deliverables and assignments on time and within allocated budget.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in designing and implementing integrated enterprise solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issues.
  • Work with distributed teams across various time zones.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in assigned business and technical domains with an excellent understanding of business and system processes interrelationship/dependencies/interactions among system components and how things work end-to-end.
  • Act as the go-to person on integration-related questions.
  • Closely work with business stakeholders, operations teams, and development teams to ensure that business requirements are properly implemented with SAP S4 and SAP EWM.
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business clients.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and team members.
  • Provide support for testing and post-go-live support on project initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM developments and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 10 years total experience as an engineer in SAP environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementations.
  • 3 years in EWM core implementation.
  • 5 years of functional experience in supply chain and SAP EWM.
  • 4 years of experience in SAP MM/SD Modules.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in the following:
    • Inbound and Outbound design and configuration for both retail & ecommerce distribution centers.
    • Design of warehouse processes including technical elements, warehouse structure, like Storage types, warehouse process types, put away, and stock removal strategies, process & layout-oriented storage control.
    • Replenishment process, customer orders, combined picking (multi-step picking).
  • Strong understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modules.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing highly scalable, high-performance, and stable SAP applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile system development methodology and prior experience working in Agile environment.
  • Strong estimating and planning skills and the ability to clearly write technical specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
