You will be part of a dynamic team focused on antimicrobial innovation, where you will play a crucial role in driving data generation and analysis for personal care and surface care products.

Working closely with global microbiologists, you will develop expertise in conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards such as EN, ASTM, and ISO. Your hands-on experience in the FMCG industry will enable you to drive continuous improvement of lab procedures and best practices.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can effectively interact with global team members. As an R&D Microbiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting new product development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects.
  • Planning and conducting experiments to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of prototype formulations, finished products, and adhering to global quality standards.
  • Liaising with external laboratories to ensure timely delivery of results.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing a deep understanding of subject matter to provide expert advice.
  2. Adapting to shifting priorities and identifying opportunities to improve ways of working.
  3. Using data-driven decision making to support innovation efforts.
