In this position, you will work on network security solutions to deliver innovative products. This opportunity is based in our R&D center in Pune, India, which is part of a multi-continent engineering team.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design and development of appliance stack architecture.
  • Develop understanding of product functionality, use cases, and architecture by interacting with team members and comprehending written code.
  • Study and decipher documentation needed to accomplish tasks, including standards, RFCs, and protocol specifications, network topologies, networking fundamentals, Linux platform fundamentals, virtualization, and deep packet inspection.
  • Debug issues in the product reported by internal QA teams or in production by customers and suggest solutions.
  • Document design and test plans as part of development activities.
  • Communicate with other team members, including with the QA team, and collaborate as required.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
  • Minimum 3-6 years software development or testing experience in Networking Systems.
  • Ability to write and comprehend written code in C/C++ and/or Python programs.
  • Prior experience in embedded systems, networking, and network security systems is beneficial.
  • Good academic record and strong communication skills are essential.
