Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Expert to join our team at ValueMap Technologies Private Limited. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and management of our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience working in DevOps roles, with strong proficiency in AWS, Python, Groovy, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools. You will have extensive experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, and strong hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC, EKS, and others.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub to automate the build, test, and deployment process. You will also work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.

You will design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud services such as EC2, EBS, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, S3, EKS, etc. You will use Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues in both cloud and on-premise environments. Experience administering Unix/Linux and Windows environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance, is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub to automate the build, test, and deployment process.
  • Ensure seamless integration of code changes and fast delivery to production.
  • Leverage AWS Cloud services to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with services such as EC2, EBS, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, S3, EKS, etc., ensuring the cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Use Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure.
  • Build, manage, and deploy Docker containers and images.
  • Work with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) to manage and scale containerized applications.
  • Write Python and Groovy scripts for automating various tasks such as infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment automation.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Set up alerts for application and infrastructure issues, enabling quick resolution of potential problems.
  • Administer both Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, ensuring system performance, security, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level and application-level issues.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any infrastructure, system, or application issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement long-term solutions.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on optimizing cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, configurations, pipelines, and processes.

Salary:$150,000 - $220,000 per annum.
