Senior Developer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to become a senior developer in a leading technology company. As a seasoned member of an agile team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
  • Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
  • Enhance team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in Front end technologies such as React, Typescript and Jest testing framework.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools and frameworks.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
