DevOps Lead Position Overview

The DevOps Lead role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for leading and managing our DevOps team and practices with strong expertise in Azure Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD processes using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Ensure smooth containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS - Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or App Insights.
  • Establish security best practices, including secrets management, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance within Azure.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem activities for critical production issues.
  • Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to manage risk and identify critical dependencies.
  • Problem-solving attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure.
