Job Description:

The Financial Operations Analyst provides critical support to the organization's financial operations. The role requires a strong analytical and communication skillset, enabling the individual to effectively collaborate with senior leaders and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Optimizing engagement efficiency and profitability through active project management
  2. Handling recurring and ad hoc requests around project management, client invoicing, accounts receivable & payable, and expense management
  3. Monitoring opportunity pipelines (CRM), tracking demand, updating opportunities, and ensuring data integrity
  4. Integrating pipeline data into firm-wide reporting
  5. Providing ad-hoc reporting and insights to Audit Financial Operations Leaders, including intelligence on projections, trends, risks, and courses of action
  6. Collaborating with colleagues across finance functions in day-to-day financial management
  7. Assisting with month-end/quarter-end/year-end closings
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 0 to 1 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in professional services industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of business operations and alignment with business goals
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate well with all levels of professional teams
  • Anticipate obstacles, take proactive steps to avoid them, and complete projects accurately and timely
  • Provide high-quality work with a detail-oriented focus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
