Senior Logistics Coordinator

As a Senior Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of end-to-end cargo shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cargo Planning & Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive cargo movement strategies that align with customer requirements and vessel schedules.
  • Rate Negotiation & Management:
    • Lead rate quotation and negotiation processes to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
  • Vessel & Booking Coordination:
    • Ensure timely allocation of bookings in the system and with carriers.
  • Inventory & Equipment Supervision:
    • Coordinate with inventory and MNR teams for container allocation, including arranging Empty Container and CSC certificates as required.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Update customers on vessel schedules based on cargo readiness.
  • Operational Oversight & Compliance:
    • Align booking forecasts with planned vessel schedules.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Drive operational excellence by monitoring key performance metrics across planning, execution, and customer service functions.
