Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Planning & Estimation Engineer to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, estimation, and costing of HVAC projects. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and schedules for HVAC projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and consultants to understand project requirements and design HVAC systems accordingly.
  • Prepare project estimates and bill of quantities (BOQ) for HVAC installations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for obtaining quotations and managing procurement of HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Review and evaluate technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and documents related to requests for quotation (RFQ).
  • Supervise the implementation of HVAC projects to ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any issues or challenges.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to project activities, including progress reports, technical reports, and project completion reports.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to coordinate project resources and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to HVAC systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in planning and estimation of HVAC / MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in project estimation and preparing bill of quantities (BOQ).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC / MEP systems, equipment, and materials.
  • Experience in reviewing technical documents and managing procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in HVAC project planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in HVAC systems.
