About the Role

This role is responsible for servicing orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework, ensuring timely issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI) and good understanding of Supply Chain essentials.

  • Servicing orders for regional sales teams in a timely manner to ensure effective issue resolution
  • Validating demand over the horizon and prioritizing orders/customers based on defined parameters
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate demand with purchase orders, licenses, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, and other customer-specific requirements
  • Analyzing order status in systems to identify potential issues affecting timelines
  • Gathering information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules to optimize logistics
  • Taking ownership of assigned orders and driving all documentation related to shipments
  • Planning shipments with logistics teams to mitigate risks/delays and avoid demurrage/penalties
  • Attending meetings to gather data and updates on open orders for regions
Supply Chain Technology and Automation

The successful candidate will be able to identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in Order Management processes to improve Supply Chain visibility. They will also drive implementation and rollout cycles for SCM technology jointly with IT.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI)
  • Good understanding and experience of Supply Chain essentials, preferably in Pharma
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
  • SAP knowledge essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Decision-making and prioritization abilities
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Clear understanding of plant PPIC concepts, prior experience essential
