Senior IoT Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled senior developer to implement innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OT IT integration, IoT technologies, Azure cloud platform, and software development, along with the ability to lead a team of developers and testers.

Job Description

This role involves designing and developing .NET applications, designing, developing, and deploying the Azure Cloud platform, implementing application integration into IoT stacks of Microsoft Azure Cloud, and leading and collaborating with different teams to integrate back-end and front-end solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring security and compliance of the cloud solutions with best practices, monitoring and troubleshooting applications on Azure for performance and scalability, and evaluating and recommending IoT solution architecture on Azure platforms.

Requirements
  1. 6-8 years of software development experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
  2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in IoT solutions with experience in Azure IoT service.
  3. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud with strong hands-on experience in Azure PaaS components like Azure Storage, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, Service Bus.
  4. Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
  5. Experience in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  6. Experience in database technologies like SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
  7. Experience in device configurations on edge devices utilizing IoT runtimes like Azure IoT Edge Runtime.
  8. Experience with message-based protocols like MQTT or AMQP and message brokers like Mosquitto and RabbitMQ.
  9. Knowledge of claims-based authentication and MFA.
  10. Good understanding of Azure VM, VNET, Storage, Subscriptions, Security, IAM.
  11. Understanding of CI/CD pipeline for deployment on Azure, device provisioning concepts, and solutions.
  12. Knowledge of project delivery methodologies like Agile and DevOps.
Nice to Have
  1. Experience in ARM template and service principles.
  2. Working experience with asset gateways like Telit DeviceWise and ThingWorx Kepware.
  3. Experience with data analytics and machine learning tools and technologies.
  4. Development in programming languages like Python or Java.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Power platform would be an advantage.
