Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Performance Specialist to optimize our applications' performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications by monitoring their performance, identifying issues, and implementing optimizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace to ensure accurate monitoring and optimization of applications.
  • Troubleshoot user issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring problems.
  • Set up alarming for different applications, define and fine-tune alerts, and integrate alerts in incident management tooling.
  • Analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting, leveraging expertise in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on application performance optimization strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operational application management, with a focus on monitoring and optimization.
  • Proven expertise in application monitoring tools setup and configuration, as well as experience with IT service management tools.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring, alarm management, and ITIL practices and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
