Job Title: Financial Compliance Auditor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about financial compliance and has a strong background in auditing and risk management. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including business process audits, SOX compliance assessments, and internal control evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Audit Execution: Conduct business process and SOX audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Document audit conclusions, root cause, implications, and recommendations that are clear, concise, and actionable.
  4. Work with engagement seniors and managers to develop action plans to remediate identified deficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CA, CIA, or equivalent), preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in internal audit, with a focus on financial, business process, and SOX compliance audits.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
