Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Expert to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing procurement operations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support:
  • Responsible for procurement processes for assigned categories to ensure on-time-in-full delivery as per agreed KPIs.
  • Ensure availability of purchase orders in SAP either through auto or through assignment based on approved PR, price & supplier, adhering to SLAs mentioned in KPIs.
  • Responsible for getting PO acknowledgement along with spec acceptance, dispatch dates & quantity confirmations from suppliers, ensuring post-PO activity adherence to SLA in KPIs.
  • Manage the life cycle of purchase orders until delivery at respective plant gates as per agreed lead times, ensuring OTIF targets as per KPIs.
  • Post-PO collaboration to ensure delivery dates are adhered to, and in case of exceptions, coordinate with suppliers & internal stakeholders to update correct delivery dates in PO after internal alignment.
  • Responsible to ensure ASN adoption from suppliers, ensuring ASN compliance as per agreed KPIs.
  • Responsible for logistics arrangement & PO provisions for delivery (ex works) to ensure fewer deviations in payment processes than agreed KPIs.
  • Responsible for processing rush orders on green channels to ensure material delivery as per business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work with internal stakeholders, including Procurement Strategic teams and Planning/QC/Marketing to resolve issues related to pricing/lead time/QM Info/MPN etc., ensuring POs are released within agreed KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Plant Partnering teams for post-delivery resolution of issues pertaining to suppliers/logistics, ensuring material release as per agreed SLAs with Quality.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with PO Operations/Plant Partnering, Dpex, QC/GQM team members to ensure timely execution of procurement operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks daily and weekly, and maintaining lists of exceptions to implement corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process optimization within assigned categories, focusing on automation/simplification/elimination to improve service levels.
  • Train suppliers on various Dpex lead process enhancements in S2P tools to increase digital tool adoption.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification & Minimum Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management, with min. 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and handling operational activities effectively.
  • SAP Operating knowledge & internal SOPs for material handling.
