Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced piping design professional to lead complex engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools, with a strong background in Marine/Offshore projects.

  • Lead the development of piping designs and layouts for various engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review piping GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and relevant codes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Understand client requirements and carry out design-related tasks based on inputs.
  • Knowledge of marine classification societies, standards, and rules.
  • Effective communication skills, able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Meet project schedules and quality benchmarks while delivering timely design packages.
  • Identify risks, deviations, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries.
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, and classification society rules.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 4–12 years in piping design, preferably in Marine/Offshore projects.
