Our team is seeking an Organic Chemist to join our Research and Development Chemistry Division. The successful candidate will design, synthesize, and purify novel fluorescent dyes and advanced organic compounds.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic synthesis, fluorophore/organic molecule synthesis & purification, flash chromatography, HPLC, and advanced purification. Experience with NMR (1H, 13C), MS, and IR spectroscopy is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute multi-step synthetic routes for fluorescent dyes and related compounds.
- Optimize existing synthetic protocols for yield, scalability, and efficiency.
- Apply advanced purification techniques (column chromatography, HPLC, recrystallization, preparative TLC).
- Characterize compounds using NMR, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
- Analyze spectral data to confirm structure, identity, and purity.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or related field.
- 2–3 years hands-on experience in organic synthesis (industry experience a plus).
- Strong expertise in fluorophore/organic molecule synthesis & purification.
- Proficiency in flash chromatography, HPLC, and advanced purification.
- Analytical expertise in NMR (1H, 13C), MS, and IR spectroscopy.
