Junior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Junior Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and MS Project. Additionally, they will maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business, Management, IT, or a related field, with 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or related roles. They should possess strong organizational and multitasking skills, good communication and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, or project management software is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Tracking: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress using project management tools.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Resource Allocation: Monitor project costs and resources under supervision, ensuring budget and resource efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In business, Management, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, good communication and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, or project management software.
