Lead Studio Visionary

About the Role:

  • Drive the launch of a global studio with ambitious plans for growth.
  • Shape the studio culture, strategy, and performance from inception.
  • Work on international-standard projects including Commercial, Data Center, and Mixed-use developments.
  • Collaborate with globally recognized studios and leadership teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and promote the company's culture across the studio.
  • Identify new business opportunities to support revenue objectives in accordance with local market development targets.
  • Manage key accounts, securing commissions and developing sustained relationships with clients.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor team members to achieve their professional goals.
  • Take oversight and responsibility for architectural projects at all stages to ensure desired outcomes within the quality management system.
  • Coordinate workflow between studios, managing resources and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Contribute to the business through consistent profits on sustainable fee turnover for projects under your direction.
  • Report project accounts through the company's global practice management systems.
  • Enhance the company's visibility, reputation, and thought leadership/design expertise by publishing articles, speaking at events, or participating in professional platforms.
  • (Where applicable) discharge duties as a local entity director.
  • Attend Management and Board Meetings as required, potentially involving international travel.

Requirements:

  • B.Arch / M.Arch degree (Master's or international academic exposure highly desirable).
  • 15–22 years of experience in architecture, with at least a decade in studio/office leadership roles.
  • Strong portfolio of large-scale commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality, logistics, or mixed-use projects.
  • Data Center project experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a studio/business unit, with P&L responsibility, team leadership, and resourcing skills.
  • Excellent client relationship, business development, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with or collaborating with international design firms is highly valued.
