Key Responsibilities:

Credit Audit Professional

  • Conduct thorough credit audits of wholesale banking segment and SMEs.
  • Review both pre- and post-sanction, disbursement, and monitoring processes.
  • Lead or participate in business credit audits and lead a team of 2-4 auditors.
  • Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits, including documentation of working papers.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports within the stipulated time frame.
  • Submit RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory requirements on time.
  • Focus on ensuring quality of audit reports, correctness, consistency of data furnished, emphasis on policies, internal guidelines, process, practices, and people, revenue assurance, and risk coverage.
  • Perform thematic audits, review processes, special audits, and checklists as needed.
  • Coordinate with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensure quality of concurrent audit reports.
  • Provide comfort to Team Lead Audit on all developments on credit-related areas, ensuring regulatory and control requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain audit checklists for internal and concurrent auditors, test processes/procedures to foresee pitfalls and bottlenecks, and resolve them.
  • Offer suggestions for improving existing processes/systems to line management.
