About the Role

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned expert in site reliability engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and automation on AWS.

This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in Terraform, Python scripting using Boto3, and experience with ELK and TrendMicro for logging and monitoring.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating Terraform modules, writing Lambda functions to automate operational tasks, and configuring alerts for performance and security anomalies.

In addition to these technical responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of DevOps practices, and experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
  • Write AWS Lambda functions (Python3 + Boto3) to automate operational tasks
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with ELK, TrendMicro, and AWS CloudWatch
  • Configure alerts for performance and security anomalies
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline
  • Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to blameless postmortems
  • Contribute to system hardening and security compliance efforts
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles
  • Solid hands-on experience with AWS services
  • Proficient in writing Terraform infrastructure scripts
  • Strong scripting skills in Python using Boto3
  • Deep understanding of monitoring/logging tools
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security and incident response practices
  • Bachelor's degree in computers or a related field
