Oracle Finance Analyst Role

\

This is a challenging role for an experienced Oracle finance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client business processes and mapping them to Oracle EBS.

\
  • Requirements engineering, design thinking, and agile methodologies are key skills required for this position.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience in migrations are essential.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in US/Europe and ability to work in a multicultural environment are also required.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and good self-management skills.

Responsibilities:

\
  • Understanding client business processes and mapping them to Oracle EBS.
  • Collaborating with technical architects to suggest solutions.
  • Preparing As-Is process documents and obtaining sign-off from clients.
  • Setting up Conference Room Pilot (CRP) environments.
  • Conducting testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Preparing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals.
  • Testing customizations, including forms, interfaces, and reports.
  • Assisting users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolving UAT issues.
  • Setting up production instances.
  • Assisting developers with data migration.
  • Providing post-live support.

Qualifications:

\
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in finance.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle R12, including implementation of GL/AP/AR and FA, India GST, and EBTAX.
  • Minimum two end-to-end implementations in R12.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and good experience in migrations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in US/Europe.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and across time zones.
  • Good self-management skills and stress resilience.
