Lead Assurance Professional

We seek a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to lead our QA team and drive quality initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality products, leading cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning and automation planning.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality to ensure good-quality feature delivery.
  • Ownership of release deliverables, multitasking, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Generating QA artifacts like test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects. Collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Preparing and configuring test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Conducting exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
  • Deploying microservices applications in Engineering environments.
  • Supporting the SRE team for production releases.
  • Improving processes for test plan reviews and ensuring thoroughness of test scenarios.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting customer issues and providing root cause analysis when needed.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products and leading teams.
  • Experience on public or private Cloud platforms.
  • Certification of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Hands-on experience of functional UI and API automation.
  • Linux knowledge is essential.
  • Good-to-have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.
