Role Overview

Tata Motors is seeking a highly skilled Ergonomics Specialist to join our team in Pune. As an Ergonomics Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating the ergonomic aspects of vehicles, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are consistent with our company's standards.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a Degree/Diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in digital ergonomics or occupant comfort assessments using CATIA. They will also have a working knowledge of ergonomic software, preferably RAMSIS, and thorough knowledge of ergonomics and occupant comfort in automotive design.

A strong understanding of SAE J1100 dimensions and ECE & AIS standards/test procedures, as well as automotive component and occupant packaging requirements, is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to translate customer requirements into engineering aspects and provide innovative inputs during concept building.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital ergonomics or occupant comfort assessments using CATIA
  • Working knowledge of ergonomic software, preferably RAMSIS
  • Thorough knowledge of ergonomics and occupant comfort in automotive design
  • Strong understanding of SAE J1100 dimensions and ECE & AIS standards/test procedures
  • Automotive component and occupant packaging requirements

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
