Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage finances to maintain budget control through fiscal discipline.
  • Ensure smooth cash flow and billing processes.
  • Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Present financial results, variances, and trends to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop project budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Supervise and streamline accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliance submission and payments.
  • Optimize the organization's tax position through collaboration with external tax advisors.
  • Classify and manage banking relationships to minimize charges and ensure hassle-free services.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance and accounts team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification CA.
  • Proven experience (17+ years) in finance and accounts roles within the infrastructure or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budget management, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
