Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through thorough testing and validation.

The QA Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to identify and address any defects or issues that may arise during the testing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of application functionality.
  • Analyze and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and implement fixes.
  • Design and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Cucumber and Selenium.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably with a focus on software applications.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL databases.
  • Experience with automation testing tools, such as Cucumber and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
